I went for the sunset
I was facing the other way when it came up.
I chase sunsets. This is one of the places I go for them, a spot on the water I have not told many people about. It looks out over the airport, and it is always windy, and the wind is half the reason the light does what it does there.
So I was there for the sunset. The moonrise was behind me, and I almost missed it.
I shot a long timelapse that evening. I think it is gone now. This is the frame that is left.
